Personal data you submit through this website is processed for patient information and communication purposes only, within the framework of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This website is not a medical advertisement or patient-referral tool; its content is general information only.

Collection method and legal basis
Data is collected only when you transmit it via the website, e-mail or WhatsApp. The legal bases are KVKK Art. 5/2-a (expressly provided by law), Art. 5/2-c (establishment or performance of a contract), Art. 6/2 (explicit consent for special-category health data) and legitimate interest.

- Fulfilling legal obligations and keeping security logs
Transfers
Your data may be disclosed to authorised public bodies where legally required, and to service-provider infrastructure used for e-mail/messaging (e.g. WhatsApp/Meta). Any cross-border transfer is carried out under the safeguards set out in KVKK Art. 9.
Contact via WhatsApp
WhatsApp links on this site operate through the infrastructure of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Messages, phone numbers and any health information you send via WhatsApp are also processed under Meta’s own privacy policy. Please consider this before sharing sensitive health data.
Cookies and analytics
No third-party marketing or behavioural tracking cookies are used on this site. Browser local storage is used only for basic interface preferences and to display the privacy notice once. This section will be updated and consent management introduced should analytics services be enabled.
Retention
Information and contact requests are retained only for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation after the purpose ceases to exist, and are then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, learn whether it is used in line with its purpose, and request compensation for damages. Applications can be sent to atesdr@yahoo.com.
