What the contact channels are for

WhatsApp, phone and e-mail are for administrative matters only, such as appointments and directions. Please do not send a summary of symptoms or complaints, test results, ultrasound or other images, reports, prescriptions, ID documents or any other health or sensitive personal data. No diagnosis, treatment or preliminary assessment is provided by message, and such content is not used for diagnosis or preliminary assessment. Medical assessment takes place only during an examination.

In an emergency do not wait for a reply: call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Personal data that may be processed

• If you contact us about an administrative matter: your name, phone number or e-mail address and the content of your appointment/directions request
• When you visit the site: technical request data processed by the hosting infrastructure for operation and security (e.g. IP address, time of request, page requested, browser information)
• The general question you type on the “Ask a question” page (sent to an AI service to generate the answer; this site does not save it in a database)
• Your cookie/tracking preference, stored in your browser’s local storage

Purposes

• Responding to administrative requests such as appointments and directions
• Operating and securing the site and preventing misuse
• Generating a general information answer on the “Ask a question” page
• Fulfilling legal obligations

Legal basis

Administrative contact data is processed under KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to establishing a contract, e.g. scheduling an appointment) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest); security logs under Art. 5/2-a (expressly provided by law) and Art. 5/2-f. No health data is requested through this site and no health data is processed on the basis of explicit consent.

External services and transfers

• WhatsApp (Meta): clicking a WhatsApp link takes you to an external service provided by Meta. Your messages and phone number are processed on Meta’s infrastructure under Meta’s own privacy policy; we have no control over that processing.
• E-mail: if you write by e-mail, your message is transmitted through the infrastructure of e-mail service providers.
• Hosting infrastructure: the site runs on third-party hosting and content-delivery infrastructure. This infrastructure may use technical request logs and security cookies, and the hosting platform may add its own page-view/performance measurement script to published pages. • AI service: questions typed on the “Ask a question” page are sent to an AI service provider to generate the answer.
• Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers; your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process.
• Authorities: personal data may be disclosed to competent authorities only where legally required.

Some of these service providers may be located outside Türkiye.

Cookies and measurement

The site’s own code sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or marketing tools. For the hosting infrastructure’s security cookies, platform-level measurement and how to change your preference, see the Cookie Policy.

Retention

Administrative contact requests are retained only for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation after the purpose ceases to exist, and are then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Retention by external services (WhatsApp/Meta, e-mail providers, hosting infrastructure) is governed by each provider’s own policies.

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, learn whether it is used in line with its purpose, and request compensation for damages. Applications can be sent to atesdr@yahoo.com; please do not include health data in your application.
